Situation

Sparesbox sells more than 400,000 car parts and accessories to over 60,000 customers. Growth had plateaued month on month for six months and some channels were going backwards. The goal was more brand awareness, more traffic and a higher conversion rate.

Decision

Fix

Fix the site’s orientation: move from product-led to audience-led, and send budget to the products that return most.

  • Optimised web content and built an on-page strategy for organic conversion
  • Managed paid campaigns and shopping display advertising
  • Tested spend splits and campaign structure, focusing budget on high-return products
  • Developed a new brand territory from customer insight

Result

Organic+45%year-on-year revenue attributed to web content and the on-page organic strategy.
Paid media+46%year-on-year revenue from managed paid campaigns and shopping display.

Client result.

Limits

Year-on-year comparisons include underlying market growth, and base figures are not shown. Treat these as the direction and scale of the change, not a controlled result.
